Quiet, Clean & Peaceful 1Bed Flat near Paddington

Usuable- but rough around the edges for the price. Positive: Amazing location with Little Venice & Notting Hill nearby, some nice touches and large living room area. Plenty of good seating, a full length mirror (often something you don’t get in these type of rentals). Fridge and freezer clean and empty. Washing machine provided but not sure how you would dry the stuff if you were staying long term. good communication from host about getting into property, sent a video guide via WhatsApp for getting through the three doors to get to the flat. Always nice to be on the top floor. Decent consistent WiFi as far as I can tell. Negative: Shower is pretty bad, hard to get it to keep consistent temp & the pressure is awful. Toilet is on macerator/pump so pretty loud, also periodically shoots water up out of the (extremely small as to be unusable) hand wash sinks plug hole like a fountain which is always a fun suprise if you’re sat on the toilet. No Tv, which isn’t essential but is pretty common in places like this. Cupboards in kitchen and bedroom full of random stuff, not really anywhere to put your own stuff. Cutlery, plates, and glasses present did not seem clean but we didn’t really use them. Pretty strong smell of cigarette smoke coming up from downstairs through the whole flat but especially the bedroom which is tough. Window in the bedroom not useable to air out as broken in multiple places. Other dominant smell is of rat and mouse prevention, which must be working as we didn’t see any, but is quite strong in some places. All in all- could be a great place with a little refurb and some quality of life changes. Not sure about the two previous reviews- one is clearly a different flat entirely based on the attached pictures, and the other is a 10/10 with no words.

Positive: Nada del apartamento.Lo único, un anfitrión agradable Negative: Literalmente una pocilga. Para nada lo q esperábamos. Fotos q no coinciden con la realidad. Sucio no, lo siguiente. Baño pésimo tanto wc y termo de agua caliente funcionan por una bomba q hace un ruido horrible. Rincones y sofás con poca higiene y limpieza a igual q la ropa de cama, daba asco utilizarla. Una almohada dentro de un armario lleno de manchas amarillentas. En los enchufes aparatos electrónicos para ahuyentar insectos indeseables y animalitos como ratones, ya te lo advierte en una hoja informativa de tirar la basura de cocina y baño todos los días. Nunca he estado en un lugar peor. Ojalá esto sirva para q el anfitrión ponga remedios. Ah y desperfectos de mobiliario! Mucha dejadez en todos los sentidos. Hice fotos pero no las voy a poner por respeto.

Stay away… Positive: Absolutely nothing Negative: This place is a true dump looks nothing like on photos. Disgusting conditions…

Je recommande ! Positive: L'appartement est très agréable et confortable. Tout était propre. Il est très bien situé dans une rue calme, à 3mn d'un arrêt de bus et des commerces de proximité. Le métro est à 15 mn de marche. Le propriétaire est très arrangeant. Negative: La salle d'eau est très sommaire et bruyante ( ventilation et chasse d'eau), mais propre comme le reste du logement.
